Fear Hath Torment

To fear is good if that fear is toward God, and used as a natural emotion. You would not normally go against a person, or go to a place, nor face a certain animal you fear; that would not be wise.
 Prov:9-10
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
Ps:111-10   The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Israel's many failures were the result of them having no fear or faith toward God.

Deut:5-29
29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Scripture say the devil fear and tremble. Why? Because the devil and his demons know they will be tormented forever at the appointed time.

Ja:2-19
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Israel didn't fear God coming out of Egypt and many died. They went a whoring after other god's and many died. God's patience wore thin and he decided to allow Israel and the stranger to wander in the wilderness forty years until those twenty and upward died.

No fear of the Lord even after they saw the plagues God put on the Egyptians before Pharaoh let them go.

1Cor10,6-11
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Deut:9-19
9:19 I feared the anger and wrath of the Lord, for he was angry enough with you to destroy you. But again the Lord listened to me.

Ps:33,8-9
8-9 Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.

Is:34,1-3
Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
2 For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. Again why? No fear of the Lord

These things will happen, but God always give warning before destruction . Here is God's remedy:

Is:1,16-19
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it

The end result of this is the lake of fire, everlasting torment to those who will not obey the Lord.

Fear hath torment: 2Tim: 1-7

“Overcoming Fear” 1Jn:5,3-4

Fear is one of the weapons Satan use to terrorize mankind, if you receive it, you give him place in your life to do as he please.

Eph 4:27 says give no place to the devil. 1Jn:4-18 fear hath torment.

What does torment do: With the use of torment, Satan and his demons will cause you to experience severe physical or or mental suffering, torture, afflict very bad pain, it bring distress, emotionally drain you and much more if you give them place, they take no prisoners.

Fear will paralyze you and kill any available options you have to succeed today. I say today because it's possible you may overcome your fear wth a little help.

Prov:3,5-6 trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Trust the Lord will put you around the right people that can coach, encourage, and get you to the point of  facing your fears through the word or whatever it takes.

We must fight the good fight of faith and put the devil and his demons in their place casting them out because we have been given the power and authority to do so.

Lk:10-19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Joshua:1,7-9 This word is for every servant of the Lord. Be bold and courageous, put on the whole armor of God and go to work, doing what God has called you to do.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Don't fear what man can do, fear God who can kill body and soul. Matt:10-28.
Lk:12-32 Fear not little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Dan:7-27

We must walk by faith trusting in the authority and power the Father committed to Jesus. In Matt: 28-18, Jesus said all power is given unto me...

This power was delegated to him by the Father without measure, there is no power greater. In Mk: 16, 15-18 Jesus delegated authority to the believer.

Now we as believers have the right to use his Name and in Jn: 17-14 Jesus said I have given them thy Word. This is a two edged sword.

We have been given the greatest tools in the world to fight and stand against the wiles of the devil, his evil works, and endure unto the end; if we exercise the authority given us by the Lord Jesus.

I know greater is he in me than he that is in the world. 1Jn: 4-4. Speaking of Satan the devil who is the God of this world system. It is good to know this but we must put action to our faith or nothing will be accomplished.

Circumstances will cause you to fear. ex; In Matt:14-29 Peter said Lord save me, no one escape fear, your victory depends on how you deal with it.

1Pet: 5,8-9 warns us to be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

We are to resist him steadfast in the faith, or stand against him with boldness in Christ Jesus, speaking the word, putting a stop to all his devices.

For our God has all power, Jesus who is the image of the invisible God, the first born from the dead, and by him all things were created in heaven and earth, visible or invisible, thrones or dominions, principalities or

Powers, all things were created for him and by him, and he is before all things and by him all things consist.

Col: 1, 16-17. All things are upheld by the word of his power. Heb: 1, 1-3.

He spoiled and crushed principalities and powers when he got up from the grave, he made a show of them openly triumphing over them in it. Col: 2-15

Then he gave power to the church Lk:10-19

In Heb: 2-14 Shows us how Jesus outsmarted the devil when he came as a flesh and blood man born of a woman under the law, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death that is the devil.

Had Satan known the result of Jesus death would become his defeat, he would have influenced the Priest to take Barabbas instead of Jesus.

We understand the devil has power, Jesus has all power and he abides in us. Look at Gal: 2-20

I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God that loved me and gave his life for me.

When we get the revelation that it is Jesus faith we live by in this flesh, if we are abiding in the word which is perfect, keeping the commandments.

We already have the victory walking in agreement with him who has overcome the world and destroyed the works of  the devil.. Jn: 16-33.

We will be living a life of love, wearing the Ten Commandments for our clothing, putting on the whole armor of God. The scripture says 1Jn: 4-8 there is no fear in love: but perfect love casteth out fear, because fear hath torment.

He that feareth is not perfect in love. Why? Because they’re not keeping the law, the Ten Commandments.

Now we can see the road to overcoming fear is to walk in the love of God keeping the Ten Commandments, God’s moral law which everyone that name the name of Jesus is to be found faithful in keeping them.

Demon will recognize you and tremble in fear, because they see Jesus in you, Luke 10:17  the 70 returned and said even the spirits are subject to us in your name

But Satan through deception has sown seeds of lies and fear, opposing the true seed of God producing a false doctrine of money, sex, immorality, material goods, pagan holidays and more driving men to seek after worldly things that do not profit.

The scripture says, For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.

Deut: 30, 10-19… v-10 if you keep his commandments and statutes which are written in this book of the law…

V-19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live.

This gospel was preached to Israel only, until God called Paul to preach to the gentiles. Now all must walk in love, keeping the Ten Commandments. God want us free of fear, but it’s our choice to agree with the word.

Look at Prov: 1, 7-9: v-7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. It’s very few people today that are willing to follow the instructions of the Lord; they say it’s too hard.

But look what Jesus said: Matt: 28-30 come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest. V-30 my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Also look at 1Jn 5-3: his commandments are not grievous

Who are you going to believe? Who will you follow? Ps: 37-37 mark the perfect man behold the upright for the end of that man is peace.

The word fear broken down by letters: False Evidence Appearing Real: confront it when it comes; remember I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me. Phil: 4-13.

2Tim: 1-7 God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. The mind of Christ to withstand the evil day and after doing all to stand, stand therefore: Gal: 6, 12-14.

Israel's many failures were the result of them having no fear or faith toward God.

Deut:5-29
29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

The devil fear and tremble. Why? Because he and his demons know they will be tormented forever at the appointed time, and that every Christian that know their authority in Christ  has power over him.

Ja:2-19
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Israel didn't fear God coming out of Egypt and many died as they went a whoring after other god's.

Then God's patience wore thin and he decided to allow Israel and the stranger to wander in the wilderness forty years until those twenty and upward died.

Deut:31-8 To those that fear the Lord, he want you to know, he will never leave you nor forsake you, I am on your side.

Jn:14-27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Ps:23 The  Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.......
Read it.

Is:34,1-3
Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
